Well, I really don't feel like sorting through pictures so you don't get any - sorry.
After 2 dead cats, 1 dead pig, 6 live dogs, 5 hitchhikers, 3 flooded roads, 150 pieces of rubber, 2 stops, 12 hours, 2 forgotten maps and a near accident.... we arrived at our destination. :-)
We made it here at 9pm which isn't to bad. We left at 9:15 so that was almost 12 hours of travel. I'm so proud of my family because we only made two stops!!!! (Of course the second one ended up being way to long but we were able to get everyone by on two bathroom stops) I drove the four hours in between the two stops and I was pretty sore and ready to stretch when we got to Chick-fil-A for dinner. Mom and I are switching off driving since my Dad's not with us (who, BTW the way is already home.... suprisingly I'm not jealous right now but by tomorrow I just may be lol) anymore. It was my first time driving in two weeks and my first time driving at 70mph legally ;-) lol
Tomorrow we travel to Joliet IL which I estimate will take us about 9.5-10 hours with stops. If the traveling goes as it did this morning then everything will be great. If it's like the traveling just after dinner it will be a nightmare. *tenative grin* lol For those of you praying for us, please pray that we can get through the rest of our trip without a major breakdown and arguemnt between two memebers of the family. I think it's time we all catch up on sleep!!!
Tomorrow night I won't be online (no wi-fi) so I won't be writing an update. Thank you all for following this trip. If I have time, I'll post pictures when I get home.
